Stay Cool this Summer

  • Drink Plenty of water
  • Protect yourself from sun
  • Eat more Sweet, bitter and astringent tastes :- Melons, pears, grapes, cucumber, broccoli etc
  • Go for more of rice
  • Milk and ghee (esp. cow’s Ghee) are good to beat the increasing Pitta in your body
  • Aroma therapy with Sandalwood essential oil
  • Practice Shitali¬†and Shitkari Pranayam. These are done by inhaling through the mouth and exhaling from the nose. Tongue is kept straight in Shitkari and you have to curl it length wise for Shitali.
  • Read and recite¬†Gayatri Mantra
